Gorgeous 20" Bear c1910

Larger Steiff bear c1910 with original features, boot button eyes, black stitched nose/mouth/claws and felt pads (some repair to paw pads and two small holes to the card-lined feet). Ted no longer retains his button but has the most endearing expression and wears his antique scarf. He has an excellent coverage of mohair with small wear (mainly to the outer left shoulder). There is a large non-working "clunky" growler in his torso, he is five way jointed and measures 20" tall - please enquire for more details and photographs He was purchased new by the vendor's great-grandparents and came from a large house in Ewhurst, near Cranleigh in Surrey - there is nothing in writing but it's nice to know he had been with the same family all those years and now fresh to the market Additional pics SOLD
