Burlap Bear on Wheels

This gorgeous Steiff burlap bear on wheels retains his FF button and dates to around 1906/07. He is a sturdy old boy, in near original condition, with only a few minor flaws - repairs to his back, split nose stitches (revealing the black under felt) and an inoperative squeaker. He has 'lived' happily in a private collection for many years, surrounded by old bears of similar age, just smaller, so he is used to bears sitting on him!
